My face.

My design career began when I was eleven years old.

I loved sitting down at my dad’s Apple Macintosh to use McPaint to design cassette covers for my friends and family. I would print out the intricately designed artwork on our black and white dot matrix printer and lovingly cut and fold the paper until it fit the cassette case just right.

Then, thanks to my 9th grade English teacher, I fell in love with the English language. In college, I decided to explore my talent in writing. I majored in English where I excelled in business and creative writing.

Entering the work world, I gained valuable experience at the Apex Chamber of Commerce, Wachovia Mortgage and then Nortel. While at Nortel, I became intensely interested in graphics and the web and obtained my second degree in Web Design. Armed with knowledge and experience in both writing and design, I set off on an exciting adventure that is still unfolding. I reach daily to discover more efficient and mesmerizing ways to represent life in words and pixels and find that there is no limit to learning.
